About us
With a decade's experience within the creative sector - working cross discipline for Virgin Group, Lego, MTV and various record labels - Mark founded Rosie Lee in early 2000.
As Creative Director he saw the agency's client base soon grow to include a diverse relationship with Nike UK, EHQ and Global. Developing projects spanning both brand and retail categories, performance and sportswear, campaigns include National and International team kit launches, Nike Sportswear 08.08.08, the NIKEiD launch at NikeTown London as well as grass-roots projects such as this year's Run Dem Crew Youngers initiative.
A keen collaborator, Mark is currently working alongside industrial designer Jasper Morrison to launch Swiss electronics brand Punkt, and with poet, producer and DJ Charlie Dark on a number of creative projects.
In keeping with Rosie Lee's ethos of celebrating diversity within creativity, Mark has become increasingly involved with mentoring aspiring creatives, sharing his substantial experience within the sector and giving hands on advice to business start-ups.
During Russell’s early career, he worked client-side at Proctor and Gamble, where he gained invaluable insight into how agency work is briefed, understood and managed by clients.
After this, he began his agency career as Account Director at Making Waves Communications, a youth marketing agency which crossed various marketing-based disciplines including events, media, PR, guerrilla and experiential activity. His main clients included PlayStation, Orange and Motorola, working at a UK and pan-European level.
In 2003, Russell joined Rosie Lee, working directly with clients and overseeing projects. Russell’s strategic thinking has complemented Mark’s creative direction over the years to collaboratively push Rosie Lee forward on all fronts.
Joe is an Account Director with over 10 years experience in media, through-the-line advertising and design. He has overseen projects for clients such as the Post Office, RBS, Natwest and Masterfoods - from campaigns and product launches to company rebrands.
At Rosie Lee he has worked on major Nike projects across all categories since joining 6 years ago, orchestrating and implementing high-profile campaigns such as Nike 5, National and domestic football team kit launches, England Rugby and all NOS store launches.
Heavily experienced in print, POS and 3D production, he is used to working to a very high standard under time pressured conditions.
A hands-on design director with 10 years experience in the design industry, working for both large blue chip multinationals and small arts based organisations and individuals.
Working across varied disciplines for the likes of Nokia, Channel 5, Orange, BE Broadband, T-Mobile, Yorkshire Forward, Neals Yard Remedies and Sainsbury’s Supermarkets — and for individuals such as the artist Bruce McLean and architect's Will Alsop and the late Cedric Price.
In 2003, Mark became the only non-architect associate at the renowned London based archtectural practice Alsop, and in 2008 he published the ground breaking book, Sizes May Vary, A Workbook for Graphic Design.
