Rosie Lee were briefed to create an authentic experience for Berlin’s Football Fans around the 2014 World Cup. Our brief was to enable and inspire this audience through athlete connection points and dynamic, energetic design. We used inspiration from the heritage and culture of Ballplatz to infer our imagery and material choices.
One of the largest implementations of this was the giant fly-posted collage of football imagery, which acted as a backdrop to the store’s merchandising areas. Bold graphic type executions were designed to present inspirational quotes from the Boateng brothers, while the changing rooms displayed lifestyle and personal imagery.
