Work
In 2007, Nike installed NIKEiD design studios into stores across the world. In 2008 they briefed us to re-promote these studios and the design service on offer.
Previously, Nike had used the paint as a metaphor for expression, colour and design in their imagery. We decided to take this concept one step further.
Working with one of the film industry’s leading prop makers, we developed a silicon-based material that physically looked like wet paint, frozen in time. We created giant paint drips using vibrant NIKEiD colours and installed them onto surfaces, as if the NIKEiD studio had so much colour and so much design that it was leaking from every crack and seam in the building.
